Shawn Blackburn, Chief Executive Officer
Shawn Blackburn is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Y-Prime and is responsible for leading the strategic growth of the company. With more than 15 years of experience in both public and private companies, Shawn is focused on enhancing the business performance of the life sciences industry by delivering powerful solutions that make actionable information available to all users all the time. In his role as CEO, Shawn is involved in corporate strategy, product strategy, business development, general management as well as customer and partner relations.
Jaime Cook, President and Chief Technology Officer
Jaime Cook is the co-founder, President and Chief Technology Officer of Y-Prime LLC. Jaime has over 16 years of clinical trial management systems and database development experience with major pharmaceutical corporations. His systems and technical analyst experience includes positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharma Company (formerly DuPont Pharmaceuticals), Merck, Perceptive Informatics, Inc. and Cephalon. Jaime has provided on-site installation, upgrades, customization and both technical and business support of the IMPACT CTMS application at clinical organizations to enable more efficient management of their clinical trials with state-of-the-art technology. Jaime studied Computer Science at Towson State University and is an expert in multiple programming languages as well as various databases and clinical systems.
Chris Gropp, Vice President of Clinical Services
Chris Gropp is Vice President of Clinical Services at Y-Prime LLC. He specializes in IVRS/IWRS and is an expert in clinical data systems with extensive knowledge of the entire clinical trial process. The breadth of Chris’s work history includes more than 20 years in pharmaceuticals, financial services and communications. He has served in executive and management roles, marketing, and system implementation for several fortune 100 companies and start-ups, including positions at Chase Manhattan Bank, GlaxoSmithKline and JP Morgan. Additionally, he has led merger and acquisition systems integration for GlaxoSmithKline and First USA.
Doug Liberi, Director of Client Services
Doug Liberi joined Y-Prime LLC in 2008 and currently serves as the Director of Client Services. Doug is focused on fostering productive customer partnerships through successful collaboration and project delivery that exceeds customer expectations. Doug has over 10 years experience in project management and consulting services in the biopharmaceutical and financial services industries and is an expert on the principles of LEAN manufacturing.
